(UPDATE: Frank died Jan. 13, 2015, just a month shy of his 100th birthday. Click to read a tribute: A Sonata for Frank
A 2012 update: The Story, an American Public Media show out of North Carolina, aired an interview with Frank Glazer on March 2, 2012. Have a listen. It is well worth it.
On Feb. 19, 2012, Frank turned 97. On a recent visit he was excited: He is organizing a book to discuss his performing and practicing techniques that have protected his hands and arms all these years. He is planning 8-concert projects for later this year as well as programs for 2013, 2014 and 2015, when he turns 100. He also is working on a project to perform all of Bach's fugues and Chopin's mizurkas in the order they were composed in eight concerts at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine.)
