  • I was sat at the airport waiting for my friend to come out of customs and people watching. An elderly man came out and was assaulted by hugs and kisses from two small girls yelling, "PAPA!!!" at the top of their little lungs. A young boy, about 12, was escorted off a plane by a man who wouldn't give him to his aunt and sisters but made them wait for the boy's father - with ID- to finish parking the car and appear. The boy seemed anxious, glancing around non-stop until his father arrived on the scene. Their greeting was a frantic hug from the youngster and tears from his dad. The most moving greeting was of these two monks. Obviously grateful to either see his friend or survive his plane trip. Either way, it was clearly a spiritual moment.
