  • We have these pigments in lab, and I like to classify them, alphabetize, recontextualize them by color. And sometimes I think it's neroses, and somtimes I think it's genius, but mostly i just think it's...pretty. I like to make charts and maps that function as finding aids with weird parameters. Like malachite and azurite are shelved close for similar chemical composition, but also because they self-degrade into this sumptious blue-green with exposure to the atmosphere; there's something so beautiful about that blending, such a swell coupling in heterogeneous mixture, such a sweet metaphore for our more meta-interactions, intermixes as humans, incomplete fusion in friendly cohabitation.
    I also like neologism and often i think that "intermex"(interact+mix+mess) would be a fine synonym of beauty. So here's looking at you Cu, you're a hotmess of a metal, brilliant and beautiful you bring sunshine to my most quotidian classifications.
