  • So we have this guy in charge of our little school. His name is Jim Riswold. He really gives a damn. So to persuade us to suck maximal much greatness out of this year at Wieden+Kennedy, he's asking us to come up with 95 theses and nail them on his door, just like Martin Luther. If you didn't know, Martin Luther hammered these ninety-five arguments for reformation on the door of the Catholic Church because he thought the pope was full of shit. So our theses are designed to protest our führer, and demand our little agency/school/government isn't corrupted because the leader ignored public opinion.

But what demands would make this year more worthwhile? What would make us more creative? More passionate?

We need to become supervillains of mediocrity.

    These are my 7 demands:

    1. CRITIQUES: WE NEED THEM. WE'LL GET SMARTER AND MORE CONFIDENT.
    2. EAT YOUR VEGETABLES SO YOU CAN BE HEALTHY AND NOT DIE.
    3. TAKE US TO SUN RIVER, AND LET US DRAW KEITH HERRING SHIT ON YOUR BEETLE. WE CAN DO IT WITH SOAP AND WASH IT OFF IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT.
    4. MORE ASSIGNMENTS LIKE THE MAURICE SYNDAK ONE.
    5. TELL YOUR GIRLFRIEND TO COME OVER. IF SHE LOVES US, SHE MIGHT START LOVING YOU.
    6. TRICK US INTO THINKING IN NEW WAYS.
    7. SCHEDULE US A FEW FUN TIMES. LIFE IS NOT ALL WORK.

    It's on.
