    funny thing is, joe has a wealth of historical knowledge about the theater and the surrounding neighborhood that no book or documentary could convey. joe grew up here.

    he gave me more, good stories about this city than anyone else i've met here

    i gave joe lunch, and the respect he deserves
    and he gave me his memories that i would have never have otherwise known
