  • As anyone who has ever been properly depressed knows (or who has loved someone who is), the best thing to do is to spend time with friends doing pleasantly distracting things. Play games, laugh, stop thinking for a little while.

Benjamin's stories, as well as so many others, have been that dire necessity to me -- call it a breath of oxygen-infused air, or the light at the end of the tunnel, or a life-saving distraction.

Thank you for putting yourselves out there for the rest of us to revel in.

Points of light, all together, a beacon.

"Come play with me," you might say. And I do, and it reminds me who I am, who I could be, and that there are beautiful people all over the place to share life with.

    In Gratitude,
    Melissa
