  • This morning I went out on my road-bike for a two hours ride in the country around my city. Olive trees, grain fields, fruit trees all around.
Every time I go out in the country, I feel so small when I see the grain fields of an intense green, I feel so tiny compared to the thousands of plants into the ground. How humble a farmer must feel in front of such beauties and the magnitude of nature.
I kept going on my bike, up on hill, went faster on the way down, heard some birds, breathed some fresh air.
It's the second time I take this route, so to make thing more interesting when I got to a crossroad, I went on an unknown road. The road was even, I had an idea where it should bring, so I took it.
Sometime I take unknown road as a kind of challenge with myself, I want to challenge my luck.
I felt confident about this choice but soon after one or two kilometers " fear " start to arise.
This is the music I had in my head:
"why did you choose this road ???? you should have picked the other one, the one you knew
oh my God I am gonna be late, I don't know where this road brings, and how much will take to get home
what if this road is close and I have to come back !!!! such a waste of time and force
I am so stupid when I play this game
You are stupid, you better not tell to anybody , this is not adventure trip, this is stupid trip
oh well !!! now the road is irregular, you wil break the bike too like last time that you had to repair both wheels
    what a minute !!!! what is that ??? "
Suddenly I saw a cave. I stopped the bike and took a closer look
Time has no power on this strong and mighty rocks, I thought.
Such a panorama, what a view
I kept going on my bike, but voices in my head disappear, fear disappear
That view made my weird turn worth it
fear is just part of the trip, there is always something take makes my weird choice worth it.....
    .........also this time I won
