I had my very first meeting with my editor at Perigee/Penguin in New York City today. Together, we're turning my Twitter/blog/podcast Disalmanac into a 330-page compendium of fact-like facts.

We're pretty much on the same page: we have an outline, we have some nice promotion ideas going, and we agree that each copy of the book should be printed on a live chicken.

Now I just need to write about 60,000 words and come up with approximately 150 graphs, charts, photos, and illustrations. How hard can that be?
