  • According to Fernando de Valle, it is now possible, technically, for someone to live forever.

I have read science fiction avidly from the age of 12 and have often thought how wonderful it would be to have my head planted on top of a robot body.

You would have no aches or pains, (unless your brain still thinks you should) you would not need any food or worry about putting on weight; you would have the strength of five men and would be extremely useful, instead of being imprisoned in a weak body that needs to take in nutriment and then expel it regularly.

Of course I would not want to live forever. I would not want to carry on observing humanity making the same mistakes and never learning from the people who survived wars just to tell their story.

Instead I will rely on quietening my mind, breathing in peace and breathing out love.
