  • I have been of Cowbird for about a month due to crazy things.

First, my project Love, The Bus took off in April. We traveled from LA to Maine, made a few web episodes, broke down a lot, and had a great time. Due to the crazy nature of being on the road I wasn't able to upload anything to CB which totally bummed me out. Normally this site serves as my outlet of creativity, my excuse to be creative as I see fit, not for others.

I think I may be under the same situation this month, but before I hit the road again (this time Im taking my bus on tour with Olly Murs as his film crew for a web series "Ollys World") I wanted to vent and relax creatively.

Its a stressful thing to let your life be dictated by others, but Im loving the fact that I get to be creative while doing so. My bus (which was green 4 days ago) is now white, and pimped out for another. It feels weird, like a literal wrapping of my life and skills being shown as another person. But underneath I know its still me. That can never be taken away.

Im stoked to be on the road again, and even more excited that I get to make a living doing this. Traveling, filming, shooting photos. Its crazy hard, but crazy fun.

So I guess this goes out to anyone who lives a similar life. Its pretty awesome and I feel super lucky to be an artist, especially in these tough economic times.

Ill try to post some stories form the road this month…
