  • Since I joined, I've been thinking about what my first story would be. So many ideas, so many images.

I hope, that when I reach the age of almost 77 like my mother, that I have her zest for life, her funny way of looking at the world, and that I still do crazy things like she does.

Living in a nursing home doesn't have to change you as a person. You can still hook onto old guys and drag them along with your wheelchair without a second thought... you can dance, and drink and have a great time at your son's wedding, and you can make people laugh just by being yourself.

Laughter is contagious, and loving life, no matter what situation you find yourself in keeps you young.

I want to be as young as my mum is when I'm her age.

    At any age.
