  • First, I want to thank Annie Correal and whomever else participated in the acceptance of my request to become a member of this delightful writers' group. I have thoroughly enjoyed reading the vast collection of stories covering a wide and diverse range of subjects and have been fascinated by the various writing styles that are being employed. The different approaches that I am finding are a cause for emulation as well as a reason for celebration

Second, I am going to "up my game" and endeavor to add some additional stories of my own. "ME" will be the central focus of these essays since I am the only person that I am in close contact with 24/7, however, the focus or thrust will be spread around and shared by a large number of people that I have encountered throughout the years. Most of my writings will be upbeat and informative, have a positive spin, stay as close to the truth as possible, be somewhat humorous at times and hopefully, always enjoyable. On occasion, I will drift over "to the dark side" and write about something that was, or is, unpleasant, but I will attempt to express either a positive outcome of something that happened or a viable solution to a problem.

Finally, I am really, really excited about setting out on this fascinating journey that I hope will take some readers to places that they have never been to. I am eagerly awaiting your feedback and constructive input to how I can improve the written word.

    See you in Readersville...
