Age of Golden Gate Bridge : 75 years
Age of our lives : 26/27 years
Age of our friendships : 9 years

I was 4 and saying goodbye to a cousin: I tried to take a mental snapshot of the sight, the love, the goodbyes.

I was 10 and taking a shower: I wondered if I would remember that moment, 20 years from then, 40 years from then, at my deathbed.

College : I fervently tried to capture every moment in photographs. The friendships. The sunshine. The silliness.

Post-college : I saw Jonathan Harris' daily photo project, and started post-processing my photographs to capture the mood.

Post-grad-school : I committed to flying on the wings of fate. I stopped taking photographs. I try - to remember - but, I try harder to let go.

A friend posted this photograph of our night - 5 of us - on the hills of Berkeley, looking at the San Francisco 75th Golden Gate Bridge anniversary celebration, blessed by the serendipitous absence of fog.

I could almost replay the music, the cold, the fireworks, the love, the friendships.

    Will I remember?
