While a lot of cycle fans around the world enjoy Giro d'Italia for this two weeks and of cource I also enjoy it, I heard a very disappointing news. Tour of Japan was started from May 20th, but there was not the name of Nara in the stage list.
Nara was the one of the stage of Tour of Japan until the privious times. 東大寺 (Todai-ji temple) was the start point and this course setting was very famous and popular. Why was not the stage held at Nara this year? I couldn't find enough information about the cancel. I couldn't find the reason of cancel. Any Issues of budget? guard? I don't know. Because of this lack of information about the cancel, I suspect that 東大寺 refuse for the tour to use the temple's place. If so, I'm very disappointed 東大寺.
I want 東大寺 to be the temple which tries something new and keep tring what it tries once on any issues. It's the misson of the temple at sight-seeing area.
