  • Leaving Home was easy for our daughter and kind of exciting for us. My goal was to write more after she left for school. Cowbird would come up in my email every Sunday and I would wish for time to write. Lesson learned, do it while you can. I liked the tender stories, the forum, and the easy way to tell a nice little tale.

I will miss you Cowbird. You filled a place in my soul when I was lonely or trying to figure something out. You gave me a smile and a nod no a long day that otherwise felt lacking creativity. I am glad yup we're there.

I guess everything is impermanent. Parents die, kids leave home, we age, enthusiasm waxes and wanes. The steady force here is story telling persists and curiosity will continue with it.

    Thank you
