  • I do hope some of us can make it to Jonathan's farm this summer for a Cowbird gathering. It would be great to finally meet some of you I've gotten to know, through story, these past five years.

I had the good fortune to meet up with some of you in my travels, through the Cowbird years, and it did make the whole experience feel a lot more real, adding a dimension to the relationships.

Here's to all of you I got to meet up with, and to all of you I still hope to meet. We had a hell of a ride here, didn't we? Thanks a lot to all who made this all possible.

Let's all stay in touch, and get together when we can. It's a real trip meeting other Cowbirders. We all shared a pretty unique experience here.

As a reminder, to those of you who haven't heard, many of us have migrated over to Medium for storytelling, and MeWe for social interaction at a non-Facebook group. Then, of course, there is always Cowbirders on Facebook, which will continue on after March 1, thanks to Richard Keeling and Kathleen Cohn's willingness to continue as admins for that group.

So, instead of saying goodbye, I'll just say "See you around". Here's some shots of some of our get-togethers through the years.
Pictured are me with Johnnie B. Baker and Kristin,Kristin (with John Waters), NeighborDeb aka violet with my wife Kathy and I, me with Clem (North) Page and his lovely wife, Eve, a couple of shots of me with Johnnie in front of the Hawk & Dove bar and grill, where we met twice, me with Kristin the second time we met for lunch, me and Sean Poole, me with Sean and Terri Cabral, and me with Andy Rotmann-Zaid.
