  • I had a message sent to me saying that Cowbird was about to become extinct.

At the end of the month it would fly no more.

    I hope this isn't true.

To paraphrase Shakespear, I come to praise Cowbird, not to mourn her.
She has provided me with much enjoyment over the past five years. I'm not a social media type and rarely open my Facebook account more than once a month.

Rather, I have used Cowbird to tell my stories to the world at large; Let my feelings out on many topics; Communicate with other writers, poets, storytellers and artists. It has been a blessing.

If it is truly disappearing, I will have to search for another site to use as my conscience; my diary; my note in a bottle.

And I shall miss the feedback from my friends.

    Ciao, Papa

(The message gave me an address to go to, but it took me into Facebook - no thanks.)
