  • I turn off the music

    Open the doors,

    Listening to Wind

    Ducks quacking

    Leaves rustling

    Waves lapping

    Against the shore.
  • Winter is roaring

    Down the pike

    Heading south.

    Enjoy the day

    And prepare

    For the storms ahead.

    Sometimes change

    Happens in an instant.
  • On Saturday, we had a tornado watch, severe storm warning and then a winter weather advisory in the evening, and the next morning when I woke up, we had some ice on the trees and a few snowflakes on the ground. I'm from up north, and I like these southern storms. Pictures were taken on Saturday when it was over 70 degrees and the next day was in low 20's and my motto is, don't go outside in cold weather unless you absolutely have to.
