  • This is a picture of me (in the green jacket) cheering for the Tigers at the Notre Dame game last year in the rain. When ever I think back to last years football season, I always think of the rainy games that we had at home in Death Valley. I'm pretty sure we had more home football games where it rained than we did games that it didn't rain. I will think back to when College GameDay came to Clemson and many of the students decided to dive in the mud on Bowman field. Even though it rained the entire game, it didn't stop us from standing in Death Vally and cheering on our tigers. This picture of me in the rain reminds me that even though we made it all the way to the national championship game and lost to Alabama, that football season was one of the most memorable things I will remember about my experience at Clemson, that is unless we make it back to the championship game this year and win it all.
When I first came to Clemson, I was in the bridge program going to Tri-County and I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first. I was technically a Clemson student but I wasn't taking classes at Clemson and was never really on Clemson's campus except for the weekends going to Clemson football games. After my year of the bridge program and making it into Clemson, I was finally a "real" Clemson student. Now that I am about to graduate from Clemson, I look back and wouldn't change a thing about my Clemson experience. While being at Clemson my freshman year would have been nice, meeting all the people I meet my freshman year and all the fun we had, I wouldn't change a thing.
This picture kinda reminds me about my experience at Clemson. While no one wants to be standing in the rain for a football game that lasts about 3 hours, I had a blast standing in the rain cheering for the tigers, which for me was one of the best games Ill remember being at Clemson. Just like I didn't really want to go to Tri-County for a year, getting into Clemson and graduating from Clemson will all worth it at the end of the day.
