  • Because you feel you are looking out of one world into another. Jari, I look forward to your stories. They fascinate me. I have enjoyed travelling with you by train and coming back with a tree. I love your jokes. I love your stories about Finland.

When I lived in Mexico it was frustrating for me, not only to struggle with the language but the humour was so different. Your humour is international.

In Mexico they like obvious slip over on a banana skin jokes.

They did not understand English humour. It was too dry for them. I had not only to change my verbal language; I also had to change my body language to illustrate whether I was joking or angry.

I understand that in Finnish you have an amazing range of colour and tone, but I love your direct English.
