  • I took this when I was in Brighton for 4 days.

This was one of the 2 days I left the hotel for longer than one hour, as I got lost in the architecture. I drank it in, in loud solitude.

The second of the 2 days, I walked. I did not stop, I did not sit on the beach as I had hoped. I did not venture into any shops. I walked, in loud solitude.

The other 2 days I spent watching the world going by from the window, and timed with incredible precision leaving the hotel to eat, breakfast just across the road, at a specific table that I was comfortable with, and had taken 2 days to chose. I went out for dinner once, and was back within half an hour. In loud solitude.

When I returned, everyone asked how my break was. I told them it was great, that I was doing things I could only hope I could do.

    Loud solitude.
