  • Once upon a time...
    many, many years ago
    a wayward princess
    brought her laundry
    to the Step-Queen's castle.

    The princess
didn't think it was any big deal.
    The King had invited
    her to dinner
    and she heard
    stories of other
    princes and princesses
    bringing their laundry
    home.
    This princess
    wasn't even expecting
    the Step Queen to DO
    the laundry.
    She was willing
    to do it herself.
It wasn't like she had to
    scrub her pantaloons
    on rocks.
    The King was rich enough
    to own a Maytag...
    a dryer, too!

    In the middle
    of the dinner feast,
    the princess rose
    to put the wash
    in the dryer.

    The Step-Queen
    freaked out.
    She turned red and screamed
    and cursed at the
    princess for acting
    as if she were at
    home.

    The Princess smiled.

    For ONCE
    the Step Queen
    was being
    Authentic.
