  • I don't know what it is about the sea which makes it so very exciting.
It has its own beauty , a beauty which keeps changing.
The morning sea is quite different from the afternoon one and
    from the evening one.
At different times it has its own personality.
It has that wild quality- untamed, with a mind of its own.
It can be so dangerous, who can forget the tsunami? We think
we have advanced so much in every sphere of life and
believe that human beings are so superior. But, it takes
nature just a few minutes to show how helpless we are.

My college in Mumbai was just across the sea. From our
classrooms we could see the different moods of the sea.
It never bored me. If the class was boring, I would spend
the time watching the sea, it was fascinating, its unending
nature, until the teacher caught me!!!

Sitting on the beach, watching the waves and the changing
colours of the sun and its reflection on the water and the
    sand is so very refreshing.

"The cure for anything is salt water - sweat, tears, or the sea ".
    ~Isak Dinesen

It is very interesting watching people spend their time. One small
girl is so fascinated by the incoming waves, she runs to catch
the water, her mother running after her :) Some children start
crying on seeing so much water. It must be quite scary for them
to see so much water in one place, the waves making so much sound!

As the sun sets the beach and the water takes on a beauty of
its own and after the sun sets everything looks so quiet and serene.
Whenever I see the beach, I remember the lines,
' If you want to leave your footprints
    on the sands of time,
Do not drag your feet '.
