  • In my search for fitting , acceptance, love, belonging and all other unknowns, I have learnt to lower my guard.
To be susceptible to what comes my way, may that be laughter, embarrassment, failure, compliments, pretty much anything.
Its through being vulnerable that I have learned how strong I am, what I am capable of, and what I can overcome and or achieve.
That instinctual feeling that makes you stay when you want to run, it makes you wait, very well knowing you're waiting for nothing. Its in that state of mind /being that I feel more at ease, shaking like grass in a wind storm, but calm on the inside.
I will keep lowering my guard, till the tides take me to 'my' shore.
