  • I do not have a mirror in either my bedroom or my bathroom. My friend has mirrors everywhere.
Why do people have mirrors except to see themselves or preen themselves up.For me I no longer want to see what the world sees,I am quite happy with the way I feel.No longer worrying how white the hair is or if wrinkles are forming on the face.
I hope that people see me as I feel, in the good moments that is.In my hospital visits I always manage to find laughter and try to give this to others. It is so much nicer to remember each day by the numbe of smiles we see or the sound of the laughter evoked.I do not need a mirror to see my smile.
Perhaps too much time is spent looking at or outside when the inside needs attention. This would change the outside as well,a smile looks so much nicer than tears or a frown. They say laughter is the best medicine.Perhaps laughing at our image in a mirror might bring more smiles to our face.
The image is a look at the seafront here where I live,at the moment the beach is full of laughter and happiness on the summer fair.
