  • My dear Diane, Please also accept this little photo of a Ganesha, I painted some time back. Alas the hard copy is no longer with me. I presented that to another Ganesha admirer and writer, Amish Tripathi, whose trilogy novels based on Shiva called The Shiva Trilogy is doing very well in India; I'm not sure if its available in UK. It's a mythological historical fiction and the second book has Ganesha as the main character. I found his work very interesting and funny and would recommend to all interested in such a genre. But through it what he is really exploring is the concept of evil and whether evil really can ever exist.
Traditionally one of Ganesha's tusk is broken but I decided that my Ganesha would have them both intact!
