  • Another day at the office and another research assignment for business development/marketing that sends me deep into the internet, tethered to my desk by a rope so I can find my way back out of the maze of statistics in the WHO databases. I tried dropping breadcrumbs during one of these searches, but the birds came after a few days and ate them. Last week it was organ salvage in transplants, this week it's off in a completely different direction, maternal mortality.

I'm grateful that at my age I still have the brain power and agility to go exploring in this dimension, stopping by other planets like Cowbirds for a bit. I work with a genuine enthusiasm because I love learning about new stuff and our product is worth it. But I must admit, at times, I feel like an astronaut heading for Alpha Centauri with only a Barbie lunchbox and feeling like this photo of William.

I really really really love my life...
