  • Today is one of my favorite days of the year: Pick Up Plant Day! ::jumping up and down combined with choirs from the heavens singing::

It was 75 degrees with lots of sunshine and I drove out to pick-up my Bonnie Plants at the vegetable nursery. I filled a van full of them, laughing. It was a beautiful place filled with growing things and happiness.

This photo is my attempt at a self-portrait without a tri-pod. I balanced the camera precariously on the van door and my foot. Then laughed so hard I fell on to the plants. I smell like rosemary now. I love that when that happens.

*Note - because the FTC requires it, I am letting the readers know that I received these plants from Bonnie Plants in exchange for my writing all kinds of stories about them. I also donate about 100 lbs of vegetables per year to local food pantries.
