  • I travel often, but in all my travels I have only seen the City of Chicago from a over-Lake-Michigan-sky-angle a few times in my life. Here is a photo I captured from the window of my airplane a few weeks ago.

    Everyone stares out their windows. It is silent on the airplane, we can only hear the engines as we are struck in awe as we see this view. Night is encroaching; it is sunset. Colors swirl in the storm clouds and below is the outline of the city in silhouette.
