  • Today while thinking about how my mother and I percieve things differently, I had somewhat of a paradox-epiphany thing...:

    That the small things in life make life pleasurable, and the big things make life meaningful with purpose. One cannot exist without the other, because each affect the other significantly.

    You can't just care about the small things, either they be small things in your own little world, such as your craving for that new dress, even though it could be hand-sewn by a girl in India who is being paid a quarter a day.
    You can't just care about the big things, because then you fail to see the little mircales happening around you in each moment.

    Enjoy both, and the rest will fall into place.
