  • Is social networking a new concept? I think not.

Is the overwhelming urge to share one's views and opinions an integral part of what it is to be a human being?

I believe that it is how we learn, it is how we grow, and the urge is as low level as survival.

On a recent hike through a local state park with my wife, we happend upon this prehistoric 'wall' post. All I could think to myself was, "Facebook has nothing on this Douglas Fir".

I would love to revisit this spot 100 years from now with my iPhone104s in hand and see if the walls of Facebook outlast this old fir tree.

My money is on the fir tree.
