  • Before I tell you this story I just want to say that I find it revolting writing another story on this topic when really there are much more pressing injustices occurring in my State, Wisconsin. Last night the current Governor, Walker received more support than all his opponents combined in the primary re-call election. Walker, I am convinced is determined to punish the poor, destroy the planet and smite any possibility of a strong future by dismantling quality education and culture.

My first rally: Madison, Wisconsin. 1991? I was certainly born, but no more than three or four years old.

    What was the rally?

Well, there were pictures of bloody strangled fetuses.

Mom handed me a sign to carry: CHOOSE LIFE. It was my responsibility to hold the sign as the Spokesperson of the Recently Born. I wore a white lacy baptismal style dress and frilly socks.

That day my Mom taught me my life was a responsibility in a world of good and evil.

Since, I have learned that my life is a complex responsibility in a complexly unjust world.
