  • in an ordinary moment during the day, in a very ordinary way, you get one piece of news that shakes you very deeply; that is unrecoverable; that is, just, sad...

i would never have guessed this would be my "today". needless to say, neither was this what i had in mind as my first story when i started my account today.

after the terrible news of loss, my brain started thinking all the memories, how unfair what happened is, the last time we met, how sure we were to meet again in a couple of months.

then started further thoughts on life: we take so many things for granted without even knowing. we make so many assumptions for our potential future. we delay so many things for the sake of "long term" benefit. we just keep trying to control what we do, what we say, what we feel, to do "what is more appropriate" rather than "what we want". and in the end, we never know what awaits us the next day, actually we don't even know if a next day awaits us..

i wish it wasn't this news that made me think about all those. i wish i didn't hear this news at all..

rest in peace my dear friend..
