  • They had just broken into the building, and I was the first one in with a camera.

    “Hey man, no pictures in here,” said one of the guys in black.

    “Why? You guys are all wearing masks anyway,” I said.

    “I’m just telling you,” said the guy. “People are not going to be happy with you taking pictures in here. I’d put away the camera.”

    “Who are you guys anyway?” I said.

    “We’re nobody,” said the guy. “We’re just people.”

    “No, I mean all you guys who planned this building takeover. You guys in black masks. This kind of thing doesn’t just happen by itself. Who are you? Where are you from?”

    “From all over.”

    “But who organized this? How many people knew about it?”

    “Hey man, we’re just people doing things. Taking direct action. That’s what this is all about. But seriously, friendly advice, put away the camera.”
