  • What kind of bottom feeder steals a 33-yr-old fish named Mama Cass from a gurgling pond?

Big Mama Cass soaked away her days in a landscaped oasis built especially for her and her friends - until last week when some lowlife suckers broke into Hardscape Material rock yard in Bixby, Oklahoma. For 20 years, my buddies, Brad and Jody Porter, sprinkled Mama Cass with goodwill and good food for they loved her speckled beauty and friendly pucker.

The next night, the worms slinked back in and stole three fish cousins and a statue of a pissing dog.

Selling rocks for a living is back-breaking, hot, dusty work. The fish ponds offers respite from 10-hour days of heavy lifting and rough edges. The ponds just aren't the same without big Mama and her friends.

Brad and Jody work hard to make a buck.

They like pretty fish. They hate thieves. They deserve a break.

Return Mama Cass, would you? Then, you can just slide on back into that deep hole you call your heart and rot away.
