  • I have been playing with Cowbird for about a week now. I am pleasantly surprised and addicted.

I have been writing some pretty public stuff before. I write a blog post every now and then, both to my private blog and for work. I have been a newspaper columnist even.

Cowbird has allowed me to write for no particular purpose, and still reach people with it. I have just let my mind wander and wonder, and written out whatever comes up.

So far I have realised through my writing, that I am a bit homesick for Finland. I have also noticed I seem to have some unfinished business with people I have loved and lost, one way or another. Probably more to come on that theme.

Reading other people's stories is like dipping into a candy jar with eyes closed. Sweet, tart, tangy, sharp, soft... just one more and then I'll get back to writing my presentation for tomorrow. Really. I promise. Except now the stories have sprouted a thought... I might need to write a bit about that.

So thanks, fellow Cowbirders. I already feel like I belong.
