  • Yesterday we had a long, hard, dramatic thunderstorm in the morning.

    Then the sun came out. And the forest came alive with sound! This was especially true in the marshy area at the edge of the lake...which has yet to even begin to show new green!

    The lake was on the flight landing path during my walk yesterday as well. But the croaking and singing was so loud that it almost drowned out the continuous sound of airplanes.

    Blessed urban nature!
