  • I worried that between the veterinary hospital in wanstead where he spent his last week - to the final hour - the mad dash to the cemetery in hampshire governed by train times but very nice people - to the scattering of his ashes along his favourite walk, he might have got lost along the way, and then this appeared on the wall a couple of weeks later.

    I was trying to think how I might have spilt something like this without knowing it - I scrubbed it with soap and water and left it overnight.

    The next day I was on the phone and suddenly saw the ears - I know those ears ..
