  • This morning, I watched a small boy run across the street followed by his mother and sister. He was as light as they were dark and he glowed. His hair flew behind him as his hands grabbed the air in front of him.

"Did you see him?" I asked my friend as I laughed at how much joy the boy exuded and how much he loved running ahead of his mother.
"See what?" My friend said grumpily.
As he said the words, the boy turned around and ran straight for us. His hair flying behind him and the joy of running smacking us in the face. He paused for a second pivoted and once again ran in the other direction.

It was as if someone had asked him to repeat so I could have a second dose of happiness this morning knowing that I would need an extra portion to get through the day.
