  • Before we took our first family vacation three weeks ago to the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, my sister wowed me with her musical ear. She had put some beats together on a music mixer software. I sat on the floor, with the headphones secured over my ears, ready to listen to her masterpiece. It was beautiful and it made me imagine myself out in nature, running around in a forest while the light from the sun peaked in between the trees. But, I wanted to fly, over the forest, and over the mountains we were planning to visit. So, I asked my sister if I could add a little something to her mix. She seemed excited and willing to accept. So, with the microphone propped up in front of me, I began to "yelp" as I listened to the music through the headphones. A little echo here and there and some adjusted placement and my sister was able to blend my voice deep into the music and all of a sudden, we were flying! :)
