    ‘Mais c’est une chemise blanche,’ elle fait.
    ‘Parceque vous n’avez pas vu de lilacs blancs?’

    ‘If you come with me, I will show you,’ says the buyer. She follows him outside and he points to a white shirt.
    ‘But that’s a white shirt,’ she points out.
    ‘Yes; have you never seen white lilacs?’
