  • Today the rain stopped and the sun returned a while. Warm and balmy.

Eyes squinting in the unfamiliar brightness, I abandoned all to sit outside and soak up some springtime sun.

A nagging voice at the back of my head told me of the things I haven't done, that I should have done last month. That I need to do most urgently. That I'll be in trouble for if I don't do them.

    I still haven't done them.

I'm 'making hay.' Who knows when the rain will begin again!
