  • Late one night on the streets of Playa Del Carmen, music plays in the background as we gaze at "Jellyfish Gourds" - gourds grown in Mexico, then dried and creatively cut so that light shines through colored glass stones. Trinkets hang from the bottom of the gourd and the lights resemble jellyfish, hence their name.

    I am fascinated by the way the light plays on my friends faces and feel compelled to take the photo.

    Using plants as a sustainable source for lighting - brilliant!
