  • I sit alone. No one knows my whereabouts and no one knows what I am thinking. I am alone.

Worries and troubles angrily swarm around my head making sanity challenging. I feel crazy, unstable...I embrace the silence.

Freedom is beautiful. I start to carefully unknot my tangled thoughts – one at a time – smoothing down any imperfections I encounter. I line them up, side-by-side, and stare at them until I appreciate their existence. I become proud– my emotions allow them to breathe, to live. They would suffocate without my passion. They belong to me.

    My phone rings.

I am alone. I am not lonely.
