  • We've had a lot of rain in the UK over the last few weeks. I can't say that that isn't normal for us, when I was younger April was always the wettest month and it's only in recent years that that hasn't been the case.
I think the younger generation are a bit flabbergasted by it all, they're only used to a day or two of the wet stuff. We had the hottest March in nearly a century this year and snow in May a few years ago. Our weather is not very consistant and as a result always a topic of conversation amongst us Brits.
It seems however that it's confusing Mother Nature and our wildlife too. I don't know if these two ducks just fancied a wander or if there was so much water on the road that they thought it was a lake.
Who knows. I'm just glad they used the crossing and were noticed by the motorists who were waiting for the traffic lights to change. Hope they got to their destination safely, wherever that was.
