  • We sit and watch, waiting forever, adventurers of the soul.

The sun slips slowly down beyond the grip of the world we watch and hope for some new revelations but the answer doesn't come.

Through the darkness we wait sitting together, hoping that the new day will bring a new solution. We sit close together, sharing our warmth as our breath escapes and mists briefly separating out gaze from the the horizon.

More hours pass, an old friend appears behind us and begins to warm us. No longer dependent we sit and watch, waiting forever.

Citizens of the world are we! Forever alone, accepting, yet we grip ever tighter to that which we lose.

Turning we look into each others eyes, the soft light glints and reveals the harsh and bitter trust. That there is no answer, no future and no escape. Yet still we do not move.
