  • His voice had a familiarity, his eyes drew me in;
    the recluse who won my heart.

    We spent the days together, sharing dreams, sharing tears.

    His lips had me watching, his tattoos got me asking;
    the mysterious man i showed my heart.

    We spent our emotion on each other, sharing history.

    His scars had me crying, his past made me sad;
    the cracked man, I gave my heart.

    We spent time learning and leaning and healing.

    His smile had me giggling, his laugh made me tingle;
    the reformed "bad boy" who held my heart.

    We spent the nights together, cuddled up and carefree.

    His proposal was shocking, the box upside down,
    the answer was "shut up",
    But he won me round, afterall, his name was Husband!

    His hands made me safe, his arms danced me round;
    the man called Liam who has my heart.
    We'll spend years together, having heirs and growing grace.
