  • This is the beginning of the most challenging story I've chosen to tell so far.

It's a beautiful story. With lovely outcomes. So that's not the challenge. The challenge is in the telling.

A lot of the story comes as a result of being quiet and listening...both physical listening and the 'receiving' kind of listening that is not physical. In both, very few words were involved.

The 'events' in the story did not happen in a linear order. They unfolded in their own time and way. I could not have planned what occurred if I had tried.

And at some points, the unfolding went in multiple directions, had multiple layers simultaneously.

There is Mystery in the story but it is not my intent to make it mysterious. Quite the contrary.

The challenge is in the telling. Using language. So it is an experiment and a stretch for me. Perhaps I'll discover that the 'order' and 'time' don't really matter anyway. I don't know.

A step at a time. Let's see what happens....
