  • I love art.

It is clearly passion embodied and thrown into the present. It is timeless and amazing and sometimes shocking.

I adore painting, photography, and sculpture. My garden is an expression of my artistic passion; colors and form layered into beauty.

This photo was taken last week of "A Sunday on La Grande Jatte" by Georges Seurat at the Art Institute of Chicago as I wandered the quiet corridors with a good friend discussing life.

When you look at this painting from a distance it is a park-like setting filled with people and happiness. When you get up close to this oil on canvas you see the impressionist painting is made entirely of tiny, tiny polka dots. Astounding.
