  • All my working life has been about writing stories. For years they were stories grown from changes in soil colour, or translucent stone shaped by hands five thousand years ago. Now I write stories about worlds that lie in the fields in my mind, places I shape with words and thoughts.

Fiction is life. When the present is gone stories are all we have.
